Melissa is the Editor-in-Chief of West Indian Diplomacy, an experienced lawyer, and historian.

She has been researching and writing about Guyanese and Trinidadian history for over 10 years. Her main focus has been research on the ships used to transport Indian indentured servants and enslaved Africans to Trinidad and Guyana.

West Indian Diplpmacy aims continue to preserve and spread awareness on West Indian history, culture, and business.
